Hired one and looking to add another very soon. Full-time position for a Sr Systems Analyst with prior experience in RPG Programming and development. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs from an IT perspective. Serves as an interface between business users and applications programmers. Gathers and defines business requirements, and subsequently converts these business requirements into detailed functional specifications and test plans. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of information systems concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. The position is responsible for managing system projects and resources, administering change control processes, administering user testing support processes, and administering training processes. JD Edwards, DPS, ACS ViewPoint specific experience is a plus. There could be some minor programming, but this is really more of a Business Systems Analyst. § Create functional specifications and work with developers to create detailed technical design specifications. § Prepare project plans including estimating effort for project tasks. Monitor project progress/status, identify resource requirements needed to complete projects and communicate when milestones cannot be met with current resources or constraints. § Work with users and programmers to create detailed test plans and coordinate or perform execution of testing activities, support analysis of test incidents and follow to positive resolution. § Develop and maintain quality procedures and document business process standards and procedures. § Identify training needs, prepare training materials and provide system training to business users.
