Project Manager - Vendor Managed Inventory - Los Angeles

Looking for a Team Leader to be responsible for implementing a new Warehousing and Logistics system. The ideal candidate should have experience with RPG IV and ILE RPG and must have had experience with Vendor Managed Inventory systems or related logistics and Supply Chain software applications. This is a key high visability position in a world-class enterprise. Report to the CIO. Create Project Plans / timelines to support all design / development for Domestic and International VMI / Replenishment models Lead new VMI Business project implementations Work with E-Business Team to collectively design VMI / E-business solutions Create process flow documentation for all new and existing VMI business models Project lead for all VMI (AS/400) systems testing and quality assurance Participate in upgrades/enhancements to existing VMI Replenishment software (as required) Production support of existing North American / International VMI processes Drive VMI process improvements focused on improving service levels and response times Act as a central point of contact for all global IS VMI Replenishment initiatives and work with Domestic and International Teams in the deployment of all system / VMI application enhancements International travel may be required Requirements: ·Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in Business, Computer Science or Engineering (Experience may off-set degree requirements) ·IBM AS400 / System 38/36, Oracle, ·Advanced RPG IV and ILE ·1-3 years VMI experience ( Vendor Managed Inventory) Use Webconcepts (Industry) Software eVMI . Also used by Paramount (brand new). ·Strong Project Management skills ·Strong Time Management Skills ·Basic Unix skills (HP-UX11.x preferred) ·MS Office: Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio ·Supply Chain Management Experience Must be a US Citizen.
