Manufacturing / wholseale distribution company needs a "hands-on" IT Manager to manage a staff of 3 locally and 3 and their remote site in Tennessee. Evaluate hardware and software and make recommendations to upgrade systems based on prudent R.O.I. Be responsible for budget processes, RFP, R.O.I., project management, work effectively with the CFO and corporate management. They support EDI transactions with customers and any e-commerce experience a plus. Should have 10 years plus progressive IT experience, 3-5 years in a management capacity. Should also have experience with Data Warehousing, T-comm, JD Edwards, managing Network LAN/WAN environment, SQL Server. Experience with integrating acquisitions or successful implementation of new systems. Manage 2 programmers locally. Require at least 3+ years in a management capacity and 10+ years experience.
