Great work environment in modern business park near major mall, restaurants and freeways or alternative surface streets in the San Fernando Valley (north of Los Angeles). · Minimum 5 years previous programming experience in RPG IV, RPG/ILE and CL languages, DB2/400, Query 400, SQL 400 and sub files processing · Ability to analyze processing problems and develop solutions that can be implemented · Experience in coding, testing, debugging and promoting batch and interactive programs to production · Familiarity with LANSA, Synon or similar 4GL case tool · Familiarity with Object Oriented Language such as C++ or JAVA · Familiar with the AS400 command language, debugging and development utilities such as ISDB, PDM, EZVIEW, Hawkeye and Turnover · Experienced of SDLC, QA Life Cycle and change management methodology · PC skills; word processing, spreadsheet, file transfer · Excellent oral & written communication skills · High school diploma or GED and relevant technical coursework · Experience with Insurance, banking or financial industries is a plus Send your resume to Bob Langieri at Excel Technical - bob@excelsearch.com.
