Sr. Business Systems Analyst - Long Beach area - Los Angeles County area - Client needs a Sr. Business Systems Analyst with "supply-chain" or "logistics" experience. Must be excellent with user interface, written & verbal communications. Gather requirements, do business analysis, utilize best practices methodology, impact analysis, ROI. Help evaluate new software. Coordinate systems development issues with programming staff and users. Knowledge of EDI a plus (Amtrix, Edifact, Sterling or similar), a plus. Knowledge of relational database structures, understanding of web server and Internet based business solutions and technologies. Multi-platform e-commerce environment using IBM iSeries server, HP and Sun Unix with Oracle and MS-Server and Sequel Server. Medium size shop and great people.
