DB2/400 (or UDB/DB2) is the name of the AS400 RDBMS. SQL/400 is a product which allows the use of SQL natively on the 400. Query Manager is a Querying tool and more. None of the above is the Query/400 product. Dave

"db2/400" vs. "SQL/400" vs. "Query Manager"
Are these three names referring to the same product? I'm assuming that NONE of these refers to Query/400, right? It's my understanding that Query/400 is an older IBM query tool, still very much used, but hasn't been enhanced by IBM for some time. I was advised that one (all 3?) of these newer products is MUCH closer to basic SQL, and creates SQL-like statements. Thanks for any clarification on this.
