Hi friends. I have been asked if there is any function or software able to allow access remote files using SQL. I suggest using SQL CONNECT, DDM or JAVA as a first approach. However, what our develop people want is be able to do something like: select * from LIB1.FILE1 T1 join LIB2.FILE2 T2 on T1.FLD1= T2.FLD2 Where LIB1 is in my local iSeries and LIB2 is in a remote iSeries. It’s a similar function to use NFS "mounting" a remote library but being able to use SQL. Thanks and congratulations for this group. Carlos
