Specifically what I would like to do is create a file on the AS/400 with data fields and other fields that will be formulas in Excel when I use query and ODBC in Excel to populate the spreadsheet. In my experiments the formulas just come through as character data and Excel will not compute the formulas.

Bought book, sorry now. Wanted to use the 'the uploader'; code is 6 years old and will not execute on xp, no instruction on how to setup. lots of frustration after wasting 3-4 hours.Comment
