  • Network drives with red x', XP PRO, and RUNRMTCMD

The RUNRMTCMD that is working for us executes MSWORD which uses many VB macros that allows us to create client letters. With the testing of the XP machines, we have found that when we try to insert documents into new letters from the mapped drives - all mapped drives have a "red x" over the drive. With Windows/2000, we have this same situation but could ignore the red x's - it never gave a problem, we could continue to run our macros. With XP, it's as if our macros does not see our mapped drives and now we have problems. All mapped drives are "reconnected at logon" - we do not run any login scripts. Anyone having problems with "red x's" on the mapped drives??
