I want to convince a prospect to choose the AS/400 as a server for a new application. They are currently using SAP R2 on an MVS mainframe and have several other applications running on Digital Intel and Alpha servers, which is their box of choice. The new app is required to exchange data with SAP R2. There should be several advantages (technical and system management) for using rather the AS/400 then a Digital Unix or NT box in this environment. Does anyone have a whitepaper, a source, or a list of real benefits? Thanks!
