  • Netserver question : Why does Netserver change my file names to all capitals

Which file system in the IFS are you using, some of them don't support mixed case. Under the root file system you will be able to do this. Scott Mildenberger

Netserver question : Why does Netserver change my file names to all capitals

Hi, When I put a PC file like a word document in my IFS by dragging and dropping from my Windows Pc, sometimes the file name gets changed to all capitals. Does anyone know why this happens? Can I prevent the AS/400 from changing my file names? Regards, Liam.

Netserver question : Why does Netserver change my file names to all capitals

Hi Scott, I'm using the Root file system. Some of my names are okay, and stay as mixed case, but the system seems to automatically change others to all uppercase. Regards, Liam.
