  • Mounting QDLS on Linux

Hi, I am trying to mount an AS/400 share (QDLS) on my Linux box (Mandrake 9.1) with NFS. The OS/400 version is V4R5M0. I can ping the as400 and connect to its QDLS folder using: smbclient //As400Name/QDLS -Uusername. It asks for a password and I get a smb> prompt and can browse QDLS. Mounting with smb seems possible (mount -t smbfs -o username=username, password=password //As400Name/QDLS /mnt/AS400) and the mount figures in the list i get from the mount -l command, but the mount cannot be browsed or anything ("Stale NFS file handle" ??) The "mount -t nfs..." syntax should be used, but offers no user/password options, so the AS/400 refuses the connection. Any suggestions to make this work are welcome Chris
