  • Time Interval between screens

Try WRKACTJOB command from a separate display. Then after your test period: 1) Refresh statistics (F5=Refesh) 2) F11=Display elapsed data Page down to find the job you're interested in and you'll see the number of Interactions (Int) and Average Response time (Rsp) You'll also see other jobs on your system during that same time interval. Note you can restart the statistics at any time (F10=Restart statistics), this will start all over.

Why don't you just put a TIME before and after the EXFMT (or before the WRITE and after the READ) and do a calculation?

      Time Interval between screens

Hi, I am currently testing an AS/400 based application and want to monitor the time interval between when the user presses enter on a screen and when the next screen is displayed. Is there any tool on the AS/400 that could do this for me? Any ideas much appreciated.

Just remember to keep your time's straight, or you'll get the elapsed time that your user talked on the phone while staring at your screen.
