  • QZDASOINIT routing in QSERVER

Does anyone know what routing entry QZDASOINIT uses in the QSERVER *SBS? I don't have any routing entries for this program yet they start just fine. I would like to run them in a seperate pool but am having problems figuring out how to create the routing entry. If a routing entry already exists that it is using which one is it? If not what should I set up the routing entry to look like? Thanks. Tom Davidson

Isn't QZDASOINIT a prestart job? Prestart jobs don't use routing entries. Maybe RMVPJE/ADDPJE can change the pool, though.

You could try changing the Prestart Job using the Change Prestart Job Entry (CHGPJE) command and change the pool id. But I think that will only effect the jobs that are started when the subsystem starts (the prestarted jobs). I don't know what will happen if additional jobs start.

Thanks for the replies. The CHGPJE command filled the bill. Tom Davidson

The routing is ZDAINIT and the class is QPWFSERVER
