AS/400 Locks up
I had this several years ago. Seem's a user wanted his job to run faster, so he changed the run priority to 5 (better than QCTL). Caused all kinds of "unusual" problems. The system would "go away" for 30 minutes at a time. The normally 4 hour job now ran in 30 minutes. It's not a problem now. -
AS/400 Locks up
I have a 9406 model 620 running V4R2 and every month the system will lock up. I am unable to sign on the main console during this time. This will go on for about 3 to 5 mins then it unlocks and goes back to normal. I've checked logs and had IBM check the hardware performance and nothing. Any suggestions?Comment
