  • Time in IFS/QDLS documents

QUTCOFFSET needs to be set to the correct value; unless you live in Great Britain, yours isn't. I'm on Pacific time and it's -07:00. Search the forum for QUTCOFFSET for more, and search the IBM Software Knowledge Base for it at http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/slkbase You also may need to create a Locale object.

    Time in IFS/QDLS documents

When saving documents to either the IFS/QDLS the time these documents are created is 1hr ahead of the iSeries time. How can this be and how do I resolve it. We are running on 5.2 OS/400 I have checked the QUTCOFFSET and this is set to 0 A similar occurance happens on our ISX card running W2000 if we set the system time here correctly within a day the time has gained 1 hr. Any help is welcome Thanks George Willmott

Ken I do live in the UK and the systemvalue is set to +0.00 We have a process that changes the iSeries time in April/October for the change in BST , this sets the iSeries time correct.
