As I find myself working in the Windows environment more and more there is this one frustrating thing I keep running into. I can't figure out a way to paste a column of data? Sometimes I actually use a 5250 session in Client Access but the limited number of rows makes this rarely worthwhile. Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth I used to use edttxt in RPG source with the good old column copy function. I miss that function. Does anyone have an idea that will let me do a column paste in windows? Tom McQuinn

Column Paste?
Try a text editor called "TextPad". Get it from http://www.textpad.com/index.html The columnar pasting is achieved by menu bar path: Edit/Insert/Paste as Block It is very useful for making source code that is column oriented.
