Hello, How can i achieve lock state on a particular object (QDDSSRC or QRPGLESRC), so that only when i sign on with my user profile i am able to access the object, and no other user profile can access the object. Thanks

If you own the object, it's just a combination of RVKOBJAUT and GRTOBJAUT. RVKOBJAUT OBJ(MYLIB/MYFILE) OBJTYPE(*FILE) USER(*ALL) AUT(*ALL) GRTOBJAUT OBJ(MYLIB/MYFILE) OBJTYPE(*FILE) USER(MYPRF) AUT(*ALL) Joe

I think you are asking to have QRPGLESRC locked only when you sign on. If that is true, look at ALCOBJ. --buck
