  • CODE fails when used with RSE

I started using RSE to access my pgms. When I right click a pgm and select CODE it works fine for me. When another developer trys to do the same thing they get an error of EVFC0230W. In the help text it says: Possible causes of the EVFC0230W include: o The limit of 20 servers in the CODE communications daemon has been reached. Delete some of the servers in the CODE communications daemon. o The local Windows TCP/IP hosts file is read-only. Find the hosts file, and ensure it is not Read-Only. o The RSE connection name contains DBCS characters. Rename the RSE connection, and remove any DBCS characters As near as I can tell we are all set up the same. Thanks

Found the issue. I was the only developer that had admin rights to my PC. Once that was given to the other developers it works fine.
