HSSFCGI is one of several free open source utilities available from site www.easy400.net .
HSSFGCI provides ILE-RPG tools for easy generation of MS office 2003 and 2007 Excel workbooks.
HSSFCGI command TABLEXLS provides immediate conversion on any System i database to an Excel workook.
Thanks to the support from some expert users, HSSFCGI has been recently added some new features:
- A new parameter RECOVERY for commands XLSGEN, XLSGEN and TABLEXLS allows to overcome restrictions
due either to memory constraints or maaximum nimber of worksheet rows
- A new parameter ALTCOLHDG for command TABLEXLS allows to obtain customized column headers for resulting worksheets
- Feedback messages have been raised to the top of the program stack, thus allowing users to be completely informed about results of their requests.
