The last time I tried it, the WDSC install didn't recognize WSAD was there and insisted on a complete install. I was hoping to just get the Iseries components/plugins added to the existing WSAD. I'm sure the different versions played a part in it. Trevor

Is what you are saying a bad thing or a good thing ? Are you saying the install of WDSC would write over the install of WSAD and cause it not to work ? -

Is anyone aware of any problems with putting Websphere Development Studio Client for Iseries on the same PC as Websphere Studio Application Developer ? I currently have version 5.1 of WSAD on an IBM Thinkpad laptop with about 0.7 GIG of main memory. I have 26.8 GIG of free disk space on my C drive.Comment

They installed in parallel. WSAD was first; WSDC didn't recognize WSAD was even there. They both worked. It'd be nice to know how to copy the plugins from WSDC to WSAD as my current installation is locked down by my lan admin and installing WSDC isn't an option.Comment
