I have written a module that will encrypt (AES) save file data and write to a pf for offsite backups. Within the module I am utilizing the iSeries CIPHER MI for the encryption process. Using file blocking (128k) to enhance performance, I am still only encrypting about 8.5Mb per second. Any suggestions on higher rate of encryption? Thanks in advance.
