I want to soft-code my company's check printing program by determining the rules for using MICR code symbols and component arrangement for a given financial institution. My company has multiple bank accounts in different countries. I've read the description of ANSI X9.100-161 and I think it might help me but I've never seen the standard. Has anyone purchased it and used it to soft-code the logic for printing MICR codes with a check printing program ? Also, are there any other standards I might need ?
