Does anyone have any experience with this? I've got spool files that I've converted to PDF. On the Iseries, I've got a file that contains customer ID (key) and an account password. What I'd like to do is grab the customer ID out of the PDF (it's in the same place on each PDF) use that to access the customerpassword file on the iseries, and then modify the PDF so that anyone attempting to open it would need to enter the appropriate password. These PDFs will eventually be emailed to customers. Is this possible? Is this possible for a JavaScripting rookie? If anyone's undertaken a similiar project, I would appreciate feedback.
