Can anyone tell me does the IBM tool box for Java still exist? Has the functionality of this tool been incorporated into Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries?

    IBM Toolbox for Java

It absolutely still exists, both as part of the Java LPP (you'll find jt400Native.jar in your IFS in folder /QIBM/OS400/jt400/lib) and as the open source JTOpen. If you're looking to access OS/400 functions from a JVM on the iSeries, you can use the LPP jar file, which is optimized for native calls. Otherwise, you can use the JTOpen jar file either from the iSeries or from other machines. JTOpen can be found here: http://www-124.ibm.com/developerworks/oss/jt400/ Joe
