Does anyone know why we'd be recieving the following error "Program ABC received Java exception "Unknown error when calling method "setGP6" with signature (Ljava.lang.STring
"? We have been using our RPG program (w/JAVA classes) in a production enviroment for months, but now (just last week) we are now getting the above error about once a day. Also, the error is constantly a "Unknown Java Error" but it may not be at the same statement number each time. The job where this runs is feed throughout the day by a dataqueue. The job is ended once a day when the subsystem is brought down for our system maintenance. I've spoke to our JAVA people and they think it's possibly a JVM memory management issue of some kind. I've checked with our ISERIES systems administrator and we are up-to-date with our PTF's. We're running O/S version V5R3 on a model 595. Right now we're unsure why this error is occuring. Any help / guidance would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks Jeff Saar
