    Sure, I understand you would want some indication, but as you might guess it's sometimes hard to identify what constitutes "modern". For example, the monitor opcode came about with V5R1. While it's certainly modern compared to RPG II, I wouldn't exactly call it bleeding edge (if you're on a release prior to V5R1, you're going to be missing a whole lot of great coding capabilities!). Maybe this will help. Try going to the online V6R1 manual for RPG. Start here: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...sc09250802.htm In the table of contents you'll see a bunch of section marked "What's New in VxRy", dating all the way back to V3R6/V3R2.
