The real cool feature of %SCANRPL is not replacing a single occurence of a string within an other string, but all occurences.
Replacing a single occurence was possible since the introdution of the built-in-function %REPLACE:

Text = %Replace('PowerSystems i': Text: %Scan('iSeries': Text):

                %Len('iSeries'));         

Text = %Replace('IBM i': Text: %Scan('OS/400': Text):  

                %Len('OS/400'));
