VB has a CE version I think. Also, check out www.NSBASIC.com. Bentley Pearson Genesis Expert Systems, Inc. 1201 Lee Branch Lane Birmingham, Al 35242 205 991 5525 x111 bpearson@genesisexpert.com

Developing applications for Point of Service

What languages are available for developing applications on Point of service devices? Specifically devices that run either Windows CE, or Windows Pocket PC operating systems. Do any of the typical application development languages that work on PCs work on Windows CE / Pocket PC devices (i.e. Visual Basic)? Also, what kind of database file structures are supported (i.e. DB2)? The reason why I am asking this is that we have some applications on our AS/400 that we want to move to POS devices. There doesn't seem to be any "off the self" software that will accomplish what we need to do, and still be able to work with our other files/applications that are on our AS/400.
