Access AS/400 database with VB.net web form

Has anyone been able to access an AS/400 database from a VB.net web form? I have tried to use code similar to working code in a VB.net window form, but it never retrieves the web page. It apparently is waiting on something related to retrieving the database, but there is very little debugging help available with web forms.

Access AS/400 database with VB.net web form

JUST INSTALLED VISUAL BASIC.NET BUT, CANNOT CONNECT TO THE AS/400 (TRIED FROM A WINDOWS FORM). GET MSG: "UNABLE TO CONNNECT TO DATABASE. IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO CONNECT TO SQL SERVER DESKTOP ENGINE DATABASES AND MICROSOFT ACCESS DATABASES WTIH THIS VERSION OF VISUAL STUDIO." HELP!
