  • DATA QUEUE ATTACHED TO OUTQ

Hello Bentley, The spool file number is located at decimal offset 49 - it's part of the spool file unique identifier so it has to be in the data queue entry. If you want an example of how to retrieve spool file attributes using an API from within a CL data queue processing program please let me know. Best regards, Carsten Flensburg flensburg@novasol.dk

You were talking about using a Data Queue - have you found a way to VIEW or PRINT the contents of a Data Queue? thanks

      DATA QUEUE ATTACHED TO OUTQ

I have a dataq attached to a remote outq that i need to retrieve the SPOOL FILE number. The ONLY bit of information not stored in the dq record is the spool file number! Seems I have read somewhere that an API can be called to retrieve this. We are using this with Fax/400. Thanks in Advance.
