    It is on the compiler team's "shopping list" but personally I hope they don't waste time and money on it. I and many others have been using IBM's free CGIDEV2 for many years - I wrote about it here: http://www.ibmsystemsmag.com/i5/enew...e/13613p1.aspx and others have wrtten articles which Google should be able to find for you. A couple relate to using CGIDEV2 to produce Excel spreadsheets, but the principal is the same. As Joe noted the COBOL XML generation is very limited and almost invariably requires a transform of the document produced for it to be usable. I'd rather the compiler folks spend money on things that we can't do for ourselves. Jon P.
