How can I identify IBM supplied passwords? I know that IBM prefixes their passwords with Q. Is there another method of identifying these passwords? Thanks Larry L. Swain Email: larry.l.swain@saic.com

Change non IBM passwords to expire
All other profiles are shipped with Password=*NONE. If you want to identify the default IBM profiles that are shipped with the systems, refer to my February 2002 Security Patrol column (http://www.mcpressonline.com/mc?1@17...ae.1@.4cc3c2e9) where this is covered in detail. jte
