Need some understanding, I remove the *INTERACT on the where ran line under CHGCMD thinking this would stop commandline access of the command. wanted the command to only run from a CL. but removing *INTERACT not only stop the commandline but the CL command. I thought the *interact was for command line and *IPGM would allow the command from a CL? I am working with DBU command Thanks

    CHGCMD

I just tested the following on a V5R3 system: - Command TESTCMD - when entered at command line, runs. - CHGCMD CMD(TESTCMD) ALLOW(*IMOD *BMOD *IREXX *BREXX *BPGM *IPGM *EXEC *BATCH) - I just removed the *INTERACT when prompting thru cmd. - When entered at command line, now get msg "Command TESTCMD not allowed in this setting" - Put TESTCMD in CLLE pgm TESTC in a statement that read ?TESTCMD - CALL TESTC and I'm prompted for the TESTCMD and it runs. Must be something else related to the command.
