And people with jobs think twice about spending money on electronics, or entertainment, or travel, etc., when they realize that their job could go overseas next. This situation will get worse until there are comparable (salary-wise) alternatives for the workers displaced by outsourcing. Unemployed or underemployed people typically will not spend money at Circuit City or Best Buy or other non-essentials.
