I'd welcome any information you could provide me on using or not using Validation List Entries. What tool/s can I use to locate any that may have been set up on my systems? TIA!

Validation List Entries
Use WRKOBJ OBJ(*ALL/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*VLDL) to get a list of all validation lists on your system (or at least the ones you are authorized to). There aren't a lot of base OS/400 commands to access the validation lists. I think TAATOOLS has one. Or you can use WebSphere to look at them. The WebSphere administration tool can list the users in a validation list. Anything more and you'll need to use APIs. Joe
