BRMS and saving spool files - Takes forever!

I am trying to use BRMS to save and restore a few hundred spool files from one system to another. It took me 3 hours to save 200 spool files. This seems like a rather long time. Has anyone else found the save of spool files to be a long running process? Scott

BRMS and saving spool files - Takes forever!

We are saving 3 files using BRMS to Tape Library Model 3584-032 on iSeries model 825. The save for 87 GB took 35 minutes.
