hi david, we tried that already. Using the same terminal or Pc with different id..this id only is the one causing the beep sound even on PC or terminal. -

Hi there, need your expertise. I have one user profile after login to a dumb terminal or a pc , a continous beep sounds will be heard. have check with other profile with the same initial program to call and authorities but they don't have this kind of problem. thanks.Comment

Maybe it's the "Message queue delivery" (DLVRY) in the profiles. The profile is causing an error condition when it signs on. The ALARM keyword in a display file can cause a beep. The user profile has auditing set up for it, and some program sets the beep when they're on. It's a bug. The profile has the "evil" bit set. CHGUSRPRF EVIL(*NO).Comment
