Sushmita, Look here for an example of how to monitor the queue and to take action on the messages: http://www.mcpressonline.com/mc?13@6...t.2@.ef6ac8c/0 Then you would use the Retrieve Job Locks (QWCRJBLK) API to obtain the open files. Hi, I would like to use QINACTITV and QINACTMSGQ for monitoring the inactive time of a session. A program will be running to monitor the message queue. This will be give the list of jobs inactive. I would like to find out the file the user is working on and then end the job for that user alone. How do we achieve this?
