Seize the Moment and Free Up Your Jobs

** This thread discusses the article: Seize the Moment and Free Up Your Jobs **
PEX Analyzer and Job Watcher are two different tools which can assist you in finding the answers to these questions. This document wasn't meant to provide you with the details of how to use these tools. But I wanted to point them out to you so you are aware that they can give you the detailed information you need in order to answer your seize/wait conflict questions. There is a 45-day free trial period with both of these tools. Try them out for 45 days and see what you think. If you decide to purchase the tools, I can assure you that the money will be well spent. I know I sound like an advertisement, but these are pretty much the only tools I use now for performance problems. I can assure you that they will show you what your problem is; and yes, the seize/wait problems can be fixed. Sometimes the problem is with an application and the application has to be changed or sometimes it could be several different jobs causing conflicts with each other. It just depends on the situation. Adding more memory or upgrading your processor in situations like this won't help the problem. Seize conflicts need to be addressed and these two tools definitely do the job. Please let me know if you still have questions.

All this information about "what" doesn't address "how". After spending money on a tool to see what is causing the slow downs how are they fixed? Or can they be fixed?
