Beau, Its not that they ran out of steam but that the boiler was shut down. That is to say the company that owned MC (IIR Publications) decided to discontinue the magazine. From what I understand there were some interested buyers but IIR decided to not entertain them and just pulled the plug. Does this make sense? If so, explain it to the rest of us.

The last bit of news from MC
I've been watching the final days of MC and trying to get some articles from Don Denoncourt's magazine (when that was around) and also grab any info I could that I thought would be useful before the site died. Well there was a mc net news article on the last day titled All good things or something like that. Well like everything else we are still in the dark about what happened but all the news that was posted by amy newman said was that IIR pulled the plug and they are sorry it ended. I thought it was sad that a great magazine had run out of steam. Oh well...
