    Can you afford NT?

    I'm looking for an article with a similar title. It was a comparison of an AS/400 and a Windows NT server piece for piece and I believe it was on this site. Can anyone help me? Please give me a link href to follow.

The comparison came out at about $28k and change for the NT and maybe $2K less for the AS/400 170 invader. The components were compared side by side. Don't know if its been updated since then.       I think it was in the September 2000 issue of Midrange Computing although possibly August. I have them at home so I can't check right now. Scott Mildenberger

        Go to the homepage http://www.midrangecomputing.com. It has a facility for viewing past issues. It may be a subsetted view and not have all of the articles, however. -bret
