How is your printer defined? The overlays that I print are on a IPDS printer with AFP turned on....

4230 overlays
I am trying to print to a 4230 with an overlay created in Microsoft Word. If I use a IBM 3812 to print to a file I get unreadable characters in place of the text on my overlay. I have tried several other with no Luck. Does anybody have any hints or know the solution. -

Lindy - How do you get the overlay from the PC to your /400? Based on my (limited) experience, you need to set up an IBM AFP printer on your PC and use that to print from Word to a file via the AFP printer then transfer that file from your PC to the /400 as an overlay (choose the 'Overlay' option on the 'Paper' tab of the AFP printer properties.
