  • Lexmark Printer 10CPI

We have several applications using old dot matrix type printers that print at 10 CPI. We now have a new Lexmark printer T622 and would like to be able to print on the forms without changing any programs. How can I use ovrprtf to accomplish this? I have tried to just set the CPI to 10 but nothing seems to force the printer to print at 10cpi. Any suggestions? Thanks Roger

    Lexmark Printer 10CPI

Printing at 10 cpi on a matrix printer does not equal 10 cpi on a laser printer, because the print is automatically reduced according to the printer type. You could try configuring the printer as a 5256 instead of a 3812, but that would be counter productive in the long run. You can try enlarging the font, wither through the cpi settings, or with the fontid parameter. Dave
