I have attempted to FDISK a PC with PheonixBIOS(motherboard) version 4.04 MP54Pi-N. I can get passed the Fdisk... i can do a "format /s C:" .... I then attempt to load with CD ROM support.... ( so I can run the D:/SETUP for windows 95 ). I am then receiving the message NO FIXED DISKS PRESENT. I have since been in to BIOS and tried resetting a few of the options ( within reason ) ... however can not get passed this point. Any assisatnce would be greatly appreciated DLohoar@housing.wa.gov.au

boot with a boot disk in the PC. Then from a DOS prompt you can FDISK or format if there is already a partition set up. hope that helps

On a PC you must tell the BIOS you have partitions as in partition 1, 2 ect. just after you fdisk and set them up else you get this message. Using a boot disk with needed the startup files would be helpfull to get you started. Borrow another computer and make a boot disk from it.
