Currently running a Advance36/436 running SSP ONLY. We are scheduled to start a Y2K test this weekend, but comes to mind that the passwords of oprs will be exipred by system shutdown and chg the date to 1/1/2000. If so how can this be prevented, or corrected. Currently our passwords expire after 180 days... And special testing for Y2K ideas.

Change the system value for password expiration, and then change it back again when you are done. BTW if you don't do this, and your passwords expire after changing the date, you know then that the system has passed the Y2K test. David Abramowitz
