  • HTML return sub-code

When I look at HTMLLOGP, I can see GET and/or POST entries for .htm, .gif, etc. along with an HTML return code such as 200, 302, 304 (and the occasional 404). I know what these return codes indicate. But there is also another code (that I'll call the 'sub-code') that I'm curious about. For example, I have 3 .gifs on a page. When I look in the HTMLLOGP, .gif #1 has a return code of 200 with a sub-code of 387, .gif #2 has a 200 with a sub-code of 1524, and .gif #3 has a 200 with a sub-code of 1025. Does anyone know what these sub-codes mean or, even better, a website that lists the sub-codes? (The Web Programming Guide lists the return codes but, of course, no sub-codes.) Any assistance is much appreciated. Thanks, Steve

    HTML return sub-code

That is actual bytes that HTTP server sent for the page or image.
