So, is the web server going to be used to serve static pages for Toni's Pizza in Abelene, Texas? Or, are you planning a web catalog ordering system for Sears Roebuck? More seriously, the HTTP Server Performance and Capacity Planning Guide might be a good place to start. Its an IBM book you can download from their library. The introduction to chapter 1 starts out as follows: "This chapter provides an overview of the AS/400 HTTP server that comes with OS/400 V4R4M0. The objective to give you a simple, concise introduction about the commonly used metrics for Web applications. In addition, you will find a methodology for Web application performance, along with some key concepts to help you understand how performance is measured on a Web-based application held inside an AS/400 system."
