Hi! I wonder whether there is any side effect or bad thing when converting an existing AS400 library (attribute *prod) to an SQL collection. Please help . Thanks. Li

Li, The biggest problem is that there is no simple way to create a collection from an existing library. You have to rename your library, create the collection, and move everything to the collection. One difference between the two is that a collection is created with a journal and journal receiver. As far as I know you don't get a choice on the names, so you may also have to change your files to point to the new journals (if you are journaling). David Morris
