I just found out the VRT Display Devices that use the QPADEV* jobs are not regulated by the Job time out settings in the system value. The Telnet keep alive setting controls them. Because the maximum value for keep alive is 30 minutes. I'm having trouble with sessions timing out for some of the programmers. I'm looking for a way to have the *VRT Display devices not be named QPADEV* Is there a place to change the name of the devices that are created without having to have fixed workstation names? I know that I can identify a specific name for the workstation when I create it in CA But that won't work for our situation.
